May 21-23 -- Great Northern Catskills comfy long weekend

This trip includes a unique t-shirt. On Friday we cycle 20 miles and 1000ft of hill climbs from Hudson, NY across the river to a sweet little private campground with lots of amenities in the sunset shadow of the Great Northern Catskills. The route between the train station and campground crosses the Rip Van Winkle bridge and has several punchy 100+ft hills that can tire your legs and lungs this early in the season, so it's not a completely chilled out ride.

Since it's a long weekend, we will have 2 nights at the campground with flush toilets, hot showers, electricity in site, plenty of firewood, and lots more. We are set up for a whole day of riding on Saturday with as many or few miles as you feel like doing. Saturday morning plan on a stop on Main St in Cairo ("Care-oh") for coffee, and another stop on Main St at the end of the day for food and drinks at the brewery. 

The plan is to have the entire campground for ourselves, which means we can do a larger group than the usual Lichen Bike Tours trip.
