July 16-18 -- Cycling and Splashing comfy long weekend #2 - From Wassaic, NY MetroNorth

This trip includes a unique sleeveless shirt. We leave from Hudson, NY and cycle roughly 25 miles to a private land stay where we set up camp for 2 nights with our hosts providing all types of amenities like electricity, water, coolers, an outdoor kitchen, portapotties, a hose shower, and more. It's too hot to do any intense riding and this trip is an extra comfy long weekend upstate. 

Pack a swimsuit because all day on Saturday we are free to do a short cycle around the Ore Pit swimming hole in nearby Copake Falls and we will visit different spots along the Roe Jan Kill Creek where we can also splash around a little bit. At night our private land stay will feel so quiet compared to the state campground that we swim at. 

This trip's flatter ride from Wassaic to Ancram is the only difference from the other Cycling and Splashing Long Weekend (which starts in Hudson, NY at the Amtrak station). This route is less physically demanding, which makes it perfect for bringing a friend or partner who is willing to try out this whole bikes and camping thing.
