If you're new to the area then you'll be riding through hilly, wooded areas and flat farmlands. Routes stay on paved roads unless marked otherwise. We specifically choose roads that carry very little vehicle traffic.

Flat-ish Loop from the Empire State Trail to Country Roads

Leaving Hudson to the North on the Albany-Hudson Electric Trail, a rail trail that's part of the Empire State Trail. At Stuyvesant Falls the route departs from the rail trail and takes you back South on very rural farmland roads. It's all quite flat EXCEPT for that one 400ft hill in Philmont.
